Yes, We are going to look into the physics which decodes Dr. Strange 👊 ( shout out to all the Marvel fans out there #gooseisgreat ^^; )
Consider a hypothetical experiment. Take a rod of length 'L' (as seen by a person standing near the rod) , fix two mirrors at its ends, M1 and M2

Suppose a light pulse is reflected to and fro the mirrors. The light pulse travels a distance 2L between two successive reflections from one of the mirrors. As speed of light = c
Time elapsed = 2L / c
( Distance/ speed)
Now consider another frame. We put our dear observer on a trolley and push her away (towards right) with speed v from the rod. According to this person, the mirrors and the rod are moving right with speed v. The mirror M1 at the time of second reflection is at a place different from where it was at the time of the first reflection.

So according to the observer, the distance travelled between these reflections will be

The time interval between the successive reflections from M1 is,

This can be rearranged as:-

See, the same experiment , same rod, same mirrors, same light ray , just difference frame of reference but the time interval is changing.
This phenomena is called TIME DILATION ( tada!)
A meme to end the blog
