And 'this' country which we are talking about is Our beloved 'India'. 20) 6 January 1921 - United province fires at peasant near Rae Barel

22) 1924 - Alluri Sitaram Raju - Executed

25) February 1922 - Gandhi withdrew Non-cooperation

31) 26th Jan 1930 - Independence day declared and people were to take a pledge to struggle for complete independence

32) 31st Jan 1930 - Gandhi's letter to Irwin - 11 demands

33) 11th March 1930 - End deadline for Irwin to fulfill Gandhi's demands

34) 12th March 1930 - Salt March Starts

35) 6th April 1930 - Broke Salt Law

36) April 1930 - Abdul Ghaffar - Arrested

37) 5th March 1931 - Gandhi - Irwin Pact

38) December 1931 - 2nd Round Table Conference

39) 1928 - Hindustan Socialist Republican Army at Ferozeshah Kotla - Delhi

40) April 1929 - Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar throw a bomb at Legislative Assembly


Congress Sessions

1) Calcutta session - September 1920 - Gandhi convinced other leaders of the need to start a non- cooperation movement in support of Khilafat as well as Swaraj

2) Nagpur Session - Decemeber 1920 - Non-cooperation programme was adopted

3) Lahore Session - December 1929 - Jawaharlal Nehru formalised demand of Purna Swaraj

4) Wardha Meeting - 14th July 1942 - Quit India Resolution
